Well, hello!
Hey there! I'm Dawn Legatt. I've been married to my amazingly supportive husband, Nathan since 2004 and we have 7 (yes, seven) kiddos!! (current ages are 15, 13, 12, 11, 8, 6, and 4). And we live in central MN.
After all my babies were born, I realized something...I had a love for making things (besides babies, lol!!) I didn't really have time before to think about it, I was too busy being pregnant....and moving...(we are on #18, but that's a different topic!). So I started making some pallet signs for myself and had a few friends ask me to make them one. And that continued for awhile until I thought about how fun it would be if I could teach people how to make their own sign! So there began my journey of figuring out how to teach people to make signs.
I started my local sign parties business at the very end of 2016 and by the end of 2017, I had done 200 parties. It was a busy year...but not without MANY days of tears, pain and heartache! I had NO ONE to ask questions to, no one to mentor me. I didn't know where to get the best supplies or even how to run my new machine to make stencils! I knew nothing!...but I figured it out! Trial and error became my teacher and I decided that nothing was going to get in my way. Fast forward a few years, my local sign party business is still going strong and now I mentor people from all over the world on how they too can have a successful sign party business!
